12 Non-Food Easter Basket Ideas for Baby

Posted by

Holidays are so much fun when kids are little. Babies don't really need sweets and quite frankly, I don't even give my older kids too many sweets in their Easter baskets either. I also try to avoid plush toys. Yes, they are cute, but we have too many as it is and unless it's something they really want a stuffed bunny or chick will just take up space instead of getting played with. Here are some ideas for Easter "treats" for baby. Whether it's their first Easter or their second you'll find some great ideas there. .

  • Board Books
  • Sippy Cups
  • Pacifiers (next stage if using a smaller pacifier)
  • Hair Accessories (brush, headbands, barrettes)
  • Bath Toys
  • Socks
  • Little People Figures
  • Cars (baby-safe ones like V-tech or Little People, not Matchbox or Hot Wheels. Those little tires are a choking hazard.)
  • Bubbles (baby won't be blowing bubbles but he or she will enjoy watching you blow them)
  • Ball
  • Utensils and/or Plates
  • Bibs

If you really want to give a food treat stick with snacks that will encourage fine motor skills like Annie's Homegrown Cheddar Bunnies or Bunny Grahams, puffs or even teething cookies.
